AcneFree social media in June 2017. The first goal was to grow the
audience on channels that was very small and dormant for months. What we
did:
Establishing content pillars, a content calendar, and a cadence for posting on multiple platforms
Launching influencer campaigns - both macroinfluencer and microinfluencer - to extend brand reach
Executing an acquisition
sweepstakes for Back-to-School - #AcneFreeLife Sweepstakes. Consumers
could win $1,000 and a year's supply of AcneFree products and earn
entries for taking action on social media
DELIVERY RESULTS
Instagram grew followers 504% (548 to 3,313). Facebook grew engagement by an
average of 2,167%, 8,300 consumers entered the sweepstakes, creating a
database of customers for future marketing.
Building an audience on social media requires strategy, creativity and a thorough understanding of consumer behavior. It’s crucial that content be relevant, brand-aligned, and speak to consumers' needs - ‘WIIFM’ (What’s in it for me?”).
